POSITION:

Systems Administrator

DUTIES:

Responsible for establishing and implementing standards for computer operations for compatibility between hardware and software according to specifications and parameters. Troubleshoot and resolve software, operating system and networking problems. Schedule, perform and monitor system backups and when necessary, perform data recovery. Recommend hardware and software upgrades, according to growth statistics and disk space forecasts. Schedule, plan and perform system upgrades, including coordinating the transition from test to production environments. Schedule tasks using software support tools and scripts. Configure hardware, such as workstations, printers, servers and tape devices. Provide technical support for system users.

POSITION REQUIREMENT:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or any engineering field and 3 years experience in job or related occupation.

SALARY:

$58,032 - $70,000 per year; 40 hours per week.
